Apify is growing, and we need a People Partner to help us scale through our most valuable asset - our team. You'll work closely with our People and Hiring teams to create an environment that brings our company values to life. In this role, you'll develop practical systems that support individual growth and strengthen our collaborative culture. What you’ll be working on:
Performance management:
Own and improve the performance review process - to keep it fair, consistent, and transparent.
Coach managers and employees to have better conversations about goal setting, feedback, and career growth.
Analyze patterns in performance data to suggest practical improvements.
Learning & development (L&D):
Design and implement learning programs that support career growth and skill development.
Identify training needs and coordinate workshops/mentorship programs and/or external learning opportunities.
Build a culture of continuous learning by promoting internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Talent management & growth:
Build career frameworks and succession planning strategies to support long-term growth.
Identify and develop employees with high-potential through tailored development programs.
Support hiring managers with talent planning and team development strategies.
Employee experience, culture, and more:
Be a trusted advisor to employees and team leaders, supporting an open and engaging work culture.
Act as a key point of contact for employees, making sure they feel supported and heard.
Collaborate closely with the People and Office teams on various projects.
They say there are no perfect candidates, but you might be the one if you have:
3+ years of experience in People roles as a People Partner, ideally in tech.
Team spirit, passion for building better solutions, and strong ownership over your agenda.
You've built various performance management, learning, and talent development systems before and know how to adapt them to fit what a growing business actually needs.
Strong English communication and coaching skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
Experience working with leadership and team leaders on people-related initiatives.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing environment and adapt quickly to new challenges.
Have a good understanding of Czech labor law.
By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:
✅ Understand the business and culture: Get up to speed on Apify’s company structure, teams, and how we operate. Connect with leaders across the company to understand their people-related challenges and goals. Meet people & office team to understand their agenda and start building relationships.
✅ Own performance management cycles: Familiarize yourself with our performance review process, BambooHR, and how we track and evaluate performance. Suggest changes and improvements. Support team leaders in driving a structured and meaningful review process.
✅ Analyze L&D needs: Conduct an initial review of current learning & development (L&D) initiatives. Identify gaps and begin shaping a plan to enhance skills development and career growth opportunities.
✅ Start driving talent management - Work closely with team leaders to begin structuring frameworks for talent management. Suggest the company approach.
✅ Contribute to people initiatives – Support ongoing projects. Begin to take ownership of smaller initiatives.
