The Role
This is not a traditional corporate sales position. We are looking for an impact-driven builder who will own the entire sales engine - from hunting for the first lead to closing the final deal.
You will act as the bridge between:
The Market (identifying where the pain is)
Our Customers (solving their problems)
The Product Team (translating feedback into value)
Your primary objective is simple: Drive growth and convert global market interest into revenue.
What You Will Be Responsible For
1. Outbound & Lead Generation (The Hunter)
Active Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers within the DevOps and Security space globally.
Cold Outreach: You aren't afraid to pick up the phone, craft personalized LinkedIn messages, and find creative ways to get in front of decision-makers (CTOs, DevOps Leads).
Pipeline Growth: You own the top of the funnel. You don't wait for leads to come to you; you go out and create them.
2. Customer Acquisition & Revenue (The Closer)
Full Cycle Ownership: Lead discovery conversations, run technical demos, and manage the deal through to the final signature.
Enterprise Sales: Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical validations.
Closing: You are responsible for the commercial outcome. You drive the negotiations and own the revenue targets.
3. Community & Engineering Bridge
Value Discovery: Understand technical customer problems deeply and communicate how our platform solves them.
Feedback Loop: Translate market feedback into actionable insights for the engineering team to help shape the product.
Trust Building: Build long-term, trust-based relationships within the DevOps community rather than just transactional pipelines.
Who We Are Looking For
We need someone who is capable of driving things forward and building from the ground up:
Self-Starter & Execution-Oriented: You have a high internal motor. You don't need a manual; you figure out how to get the job done.
Commercially Driven: You are motivated by performance, results, and the upside of a revenue-linked compensation.
Technically Curious: You are comfortable speaking with engineers and security teams. You don't need to code, but you must speak their language.
Resilient: You see "no" as a starting point and are comfortable operating in a niche, demanding domain.
What This Role Is Not
Not a script-based sales role: You need to think on your feet and adapt.
Not a passive Account Management role: This is about new business and expansion.
Not a "Manager-only" role: You will be in the trenches every day, executing and closing.
