Responsibilities

Define and own the QA approach for digital and web projects: create test strategies, plans and risk-based test scenarios aligned to scope and delivery timelines.
Lead and execute functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing; validate fixes and confirm release readiness.
Champion QA best practices and quality governance: improve testing processes, tooling, coverage and integration of automated tests into CI/CD and release workflows.
Design, implement and maintain automated test coverage where appropriate; work with developers and QA colleagues to improve automation practices and efficiency.
Track and manage defects: identify, document, prioritise and communicate issues clearly to development teams and stakeholders; assess quality risks and provide recommendations for release decisions.
Ensure regression protection for existing functionality and identify gaps in test coverage.
Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, account teams and other stakeholders to ensure shared requirements and quality expectations.
Act as the QA point of contact on projects; mentor and support QA team members and maintain clear documentation of test cases, execution results, defects and QA processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a senior QA role, ideally leading QA across digital or web projects.
Strong practical experience testing websites, web applications and digital platforms (functional, regression, integration, exploratory).
Experience with test automation frameworks/tools and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, defect management and QA best practices.
Good knowledge of web technologies and delivery concepts (browsers, responsive design, CMS-driven sites, integrations, releases).
Comfortable collaborating with developers and non-technical stakeholders; strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with defect tracking/workflow tools (e.g., JIRA), version control (e.g., Git) and Agile delivery practices.
