About Us

We’re a tech-first fintech company building a real-time payments platform that can make complex authorisation decisions in milliseconds. Since 2017, we’ve been working with global card networks and Tier‑1 clients to power smart payment cards, automated expense controls, and instant payment use cases across multiple industries.

Our platform has grown steadily, and so has the team behind it. We’re now at the stage where adding some senior DevOps experience will help us keep things running smoothly as we scale.

This role is very much about working with the team, not coming in to change everything overnight.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who enjoys collaboration, likes getting hands-on, and cares about making systems easier to run over time.

You’ll work closely with our sysadmins and developers, contributing to day‑to‑day work while also helping us think a bit further ahead where it makes sense. There’s plenty of space to influence decisions, but no heavy hierarchy or bureaucracy.

What You’ll Be Doing

Infrastructure & Platform

• Work with the team on our GCP-based infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Help evolve the platform as usage and requirements grow.
• Contribute to decisions around scalability, reliability, security, and cost.

Working With People

• Pair and collaborate with existing sysadmins and developers.
• Share practical experience and ideas in a supportive way.
• Help bring clarity to priorities, documentation, and ways of working.
• Support collaboration with external partners when needed.

Delivery & Operations

• Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Help keep observability, alerting, and incident response running smoothly.
• Support a calm, sustainable approach to operating production systems.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Experience

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Kubernetes in production
• Docker and Linux
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab is a plus)

How You Like to Work

• Collaborative and approachable
• Pragmatic rather than dogmatic
• Comfortable sharing knowledge and learning from others
• Experience working in growing or scale-up teams is a bonus

Nice to Have

• GitOps tools like ArgoCD
• Experience in fintech or other high-availability systems

The Team

You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit technical team of around 14 people across backend, frontend, QA, UX, and operations. We’re spread across Europe, work mainly in English, and value being able to talk things through openly.

Interview Process

• 10 minutes: Quick “Tell us about yourself” video call is scheduled with our CEO to get to know each other.
• 1 hour: Chat with our CTO. For the second half, our current DevOps leads will join as well.
