Creative video editor (Part-time)
BTC Prague, Europe's largest bitcoin-only conference, is looking for a proactive and independent Creative Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis.
With over 8,000 attendees, 250+ speakers, and 100+ Bitcoin companies from all over the world, we are shaping the future of Bitcoin adoption, education, and industry connections.
This is a flexible role with a significant emphasis on on-site production during our flagship event in Prague. We have a mountain of world-class footage from our events and stage talks. We are looking for a storyteller who can dive into the material, identify the most impactful "gold," and independently decide how to cut it for maximum reach. If you have a sharp eye for a story and the technical skills to execute it, we want you.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptual Editing & Storytelling
Content Mining: Independently navigate through event footage and stage presentations to find the most viral, impactful, or educational moments.
Proactive Creation: Take raw footage and turn it into high-engagement Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X video content, bringing your own creative vision to every clip.
Professional Deliverables: Concept and edit polished videos for partner announcements, highlights, and high-conversion ads.
Visual Identity: Maintain and help refine our visual style through dynamic subtitling, sound design, and motion graphics.
Collaborate with our design and marketing team to ensure visual consistency and brand voice
On-site Event Coverage (June)
The High-Intensity Phase: Join our team on-site during the BTC Prague event in June.
Real-time Editing: Work as a key part of the team to identify and turn around live highlights and speaker quotes for immediate publishing.
Platform Strategy
Optimize video formats and specs for Instagram, X (Twitter), Nostr, and YouTube.
Stay ahead of editing styles and audio cues currently performing across the Bitcoin ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
At least 2–4 years of experience in video editing, with a proven ability to structure stories and narratives independently.
Autonomous Mindset: You don't just follow instructions; you propose the best way to make the content resonate.
Expertise in Editing Software: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or other professional-grade tools.
Availability for On-site Work: Being in Prague for the duration of the event in June is essential.
Near-native English: All content, subtitling, and internal context are in English.
Genuine Interest in Bitcoin: You understand the culture and the key voices, so you know what is worth clipping.
Smart Workflow: Use of AI tools to increase output without sacrificing the human touch.
Bonus: Filming skills are a plus, but your primary "weapon" is the computer.
