Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript) – The AI Multiplier
We’re looking for a heavyweight Senior Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Node.js and TypeScript. This is a role for a "full-time ready" engineer who has seen complex systems evolve and knows how to keep them reliable while scaling.
We don't want a "prompt user." We want an architect who builds AI-driven colleagues to handle the heavy lifting.
The Engineering Challenge
Our platform processes massive volumes of product and order data across marketplaces (Amazon, Alza, Kaufland). It’s a 10-year-old evolving system where performance tuning directly impacts business outcomes.
High Request Volume: Handling strict throttling limits and balancing sync pipelines.
Smart Prioritization: Intelligently deciding what must be instant vs. what can be batched.
Legacy Excellence: Improving reliability and throughput without rewriting everything from scratch.
What You’ll Actually Be Working With (The Tech Stack)
Core: Node.js (NestJS), TypeScript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Prisma.
Communication: REST, gRPC, Custom high-volume queue system.
Infrastructure: AWS, Docker.
The "Plus" Tools: Temporal.io, Go, Valkey.
