AWS Cloud Engineer (L3) - Operations

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Ops Engineer at L3 to join our Operations team. 

You will serve in a backup on-call role and have the capability to mentor junior team members, while leveraging your AWS expertise to implement best practices and standards.

What will be your key responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our cloud infrastructure.
• You will serve as a backup during on-call rotations, providing expert advice when regular support is insufficient. 
• You will collaborate closely with junior engineers, offering mentorship and guidance. 
• Your duties will include writing and maintaining technical and process documentation, and discussing technical and architectural topics with customers. 
• As an AWS specialist, you'll apply AWS best practices and standards, utilizing your Linux/Windows system administration skills. 
• You'll employ advanced knowledge of Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and code versioning with GitLab. 
• Proficiency in script writing with bash and Python (especially using boto3) is essential.

What experience should you have:

• Experienced AWS specialist (senior level).
• Competence in Linux/Windows administration (at least medior level).
• Networking skills (at least medior level).
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and code versioning (GitLab).
• Ability to work with bash and Python scripts (boto3).
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and provide guidance.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and discussing technical topics.
