Creative Dock is on the look out for a Marketing Strategist and Growth Hacker is the growth engine behind the product. This isn’t a planning-only role – we’re looking for someone sharp, creative, and hands-on, who knows how to make things happen. From getting our app noticed in crowded marketplaces to building traction with users, the strategist will do what it takes to make the company grow. Whether that means cracking the right growth loops, finding the perfect acquisition channels, or literally knocking on doors to get us visibility, this person will drive awareness, conversion, and retention. The goal: build momentum, get users hooked, and grow fast.

Key responsibilities :

  • Define the overall marketing strategy and roadmap for the app’s marketing (mostly online channels, paid & organic) to achieving the company steady growth.
  • Lead positioning, messaging, and brand narrative to differentiate in the entertainment and social app space.
  • Drive brand awareness and consideration through creative campaigns, influencer partnerships, and community-building initiatives.
  • Own the growth strategy and deliver measurable user acquisition, engagement, and retention in line with company goals.
  • Drive App Store Optimization (ASO) and SEO to make sure we’re discoverable and competitive.
  • Run hands-on performance marketing campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Google UAC) and optimize for growth.
  • Experiment, test, and adapt quickly – rolling with the punches and making things happen without overcomplicating.
  • Partner with product, content, and creative to build campaigns and experiences that get people talking and coming back.
  • Mentor and guide a junior marketing executive, ensuring day-to-day execution while you drive strategy and impact.
  • Identify scrappy, creative growth opportunities – partnerships, influencers, viral campaigns – and make them happen.
  • Stay ahead of mobile growth trends, constantly looking for fresh ways to win attention and users.

SKILLS

  • 3+ years in digital/performance marketing with proven mobile app marketing growth experience, proven track record of driving tangible growth to a B2C product
  • Strategic leadership mindset with the ability to act as the brain of the marketing function in a startup environment with hands-on approach
  • Strong background in paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, retention strategies, and full-funnel growth.
  • Proven experience building brand awareness and scaling apps, ideally in entertainment, lifestyle, or social categories.
  • Hands-on execution with ad platforms, analytics tools, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Strong ability to balance strategy and execution, from defining market positioning to running campaigns directly.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and analytical skills.
  • Startup mindset: resourceful, data-driven, iterative, and fast-moving.

EDUCATION

COURSES / KNOWLEDGE

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, communications, business, or a related field is a plus, not a must-have.
  • +3 years of experience in Marketing
  • Go-to-Market & Campaigns: Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, email marketing tools (e. g. Mailchimp).
  • Content & Communication: Canva or Figma (for briefs & mockups), copywriting frameworks (StoryBrand, USP canvases) – is a plus
  • Data & Reporting: Google Sheets/Excel, Looker Studio (for reporting & dashboards)
  • Mobile Analytics & Growth: Firebase, Mixpanel, GA4, Singular (or similar tool).
  • Performance Marketing: Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google
  • ASO & SEO & Research: SEMrush, Ahrefs, AppTweak,etc.

Hiring Process:

  • Screening phone call with the Recruiter.

  • Interview with the Hiring manager.

  • Participation in a Bootcamp (1 day spent with your potential team – to showcase your skills and learn more about Creative Dock / case study - depending on the role).
