Twisto offers virtual and physical cards for shopping comfortably everywhere and aggregates the payments for users, giving them the best exchange rate possible for international payments.

Your future challenges:

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to building top-tier mobile financial solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, product managers, and engineers throughout the development lifecycle, shaping the Twisto experience and driving our expansion across Europe.

Develop and optimize high-quality, scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
Apply clean code principles and leverage MVVM architecture with Jetpack components to enhance app flow and navigation.
Ensure performance, stability, and maintainability of the Android application.
Translate business requirements into efficient, technical solutions.
Participate in feature development, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Contribute to technical specifications and project architecture design.
Implement unit and integration tests, continuously improving CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate in Agile sprints, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge within the team.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.

Technology stack: Kotlin; Kotlin Coroutines.

Architectural Patterns: MVVM Clean Architecture.

APIs: Apollo GraphQL.

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum: 14-day sprints with online stand-ups using Slack.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Android development, ideally within the fintech industry.
Strong expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and modern Android architectures such as MVVM and Jetpack components.
Proven experience in designing scalable app architectures, performance optimization, and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, unit/integration testing, and automated testing frameworks for Android.
In-depth knowledge of mobile app security best practices, including encryption and secure authentication protocols.
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and make informed technical decisions that drive project success.
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
