Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically skilled and forward-thinking Conversational AI developer to join our Global Sales Digitalization team. In this role, you’ll not only develop chatbot solutions, you will shape the future of how LEDVANCE interacts with customers, partners, and internal teams through intelligent agents and chatbot solutions.

You will be the sole expert in the field (for now), with the opportunity to build scalable solutions from the ground up. From building conversational flows to integrating smart product data, your work will help us deliver seamless digital experiences across channels and regions.

Over time, as our AI capabilities grow, you may also contribute to defining and building your own team.

What is going to be your responsibility?

Design, build, and maintain chatbot and AI agent solutions for both internal and external use cases on Botpress Enterprise platform.
Develop front-end interfaces for chatbot interactions across web and mobile applications.
Integrate AI solutions with internal systems, APIs, and smart product platforms.
Collaborate closely with UX designers, digital innovation leads, and technical stakeholders to align user experience and business logic.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all AI-driven solutions.
Stay up to date with trends in AI, LLMs, smart home automation, and emerging tools.
Continuously improve prompt design, intent recognition, and conversational logic.
Support the deployment of multilingual bots and voice/chat agents across global markets.
Participate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and documentation efforts.
Act as a problem-solver and creative thinker when it comes to building user-centric automation experiences.
Support a culture of experimentation, learning, and collaboration within the Sales Digitalization team.
Contribute to building internal documentation, standards, and future team structure.

Expectations for the ideal candidate

Proven experience in developing chatbot or conversational AI solutions from the ground up, preferably with Botpress.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript within a Node.js environment.
Experience with at least two relevant conversational AI platforms or frameworks such as Botpress, Chatbase, n8n, or Crew AI.
Solid understanding of conversational flows, prompt engineering, and API integrations.
Front‑end development capabilities using React.
Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
You’re a self‑starter: able to navigate ambiguity, define your own roadmap, and deliver.
Ability to excite non‑tech audiences.
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast‑evolving digital environment.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a C1 level or higher is essential.
