Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
The IT Infrastructure team is a team of builders around the world, characterized by a love for innovative technology, a desire to solve problems, and a never-ending goal to build simple, elegant solutions that help employees do more. We architect and automate identity and access management, endpoints and cloud landing zones, various software and platforms used by all the workforce. IT Infrastructure is uniquely positioned to have oversight and awareness of the multiple technology and process implementations planned or in-progress at Collibra.
This position is based in the Czech Republic.
Infrastructure engineers at Collibra are responsible for
Jira service management strategy for the company
Supporting the Security and Compliance teams as part of the computer security incident response team
User lifecycle management: automating and securing user provisioning (on-boarding) and de-provisioning (off-boarding)
Providing secure authentication to all applications
Low-touch endpoint provisioning to users with required apps, endpoint configuration, management and patching.
Providing a safe and prepared IaaS area (access, isolation, billing, cost mgmt) where a team can land to consume cloud services.
Contributing to the design, development and iterations on tools and automations for IT and our employees.
Developing architectural requirements and corresponding processes to better help and advise our internal customers
Developing high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code, following industry and organizational best practices and standards
Making well-reasoned design decisions, identifying potential issues, trade-offs, risks, and the appropriate level of abstraction.
Explaining the technical challenges within their area of expertise to non-technical audiences.
Working with an IT support team for level 3 incidents and various domain experts from Engineering, Legal, Security, People, Data Office and more.
You have
Strong understanding of Jira service management admin and its features, including configuring and customizing Jira workflows, schemes, and permissions
Familiarity with MDM/endpoints and asset management
Proven experience with application ownership and application lifecycle management (vendor management, strategy, renewal, compliance)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with information security principles, incident management processes and best practices, able to analyze complex issues and develop appropriate solutions
Development/scripting experience in Python
Knowledge about how to interact with APIs
Comfort with Linux (both desktop and server administration) and its ecosystem
Cloud knowledge (GCP or AWS) is a plus
Experience with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
Knowledge on IdPs like Okta and SAML authentication is a plus
Experience with business systems like Slack, Google Workspace, etc. is a plus
At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
