Job Summary

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will support our mission by executing and managing tests to ensure the quality of our software products. Working closely with our developers and Product Managers, you’ll help identify issues, verify fixes, and learn to advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure products meet quality standards. 

• Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software applications. 

• Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes. 

• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. 

• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testing conditions, limits, and acceptance criteria are met. 

• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in quality assurance testing. 

• Assist in the development and implementation of QA testing policies and procedures. 

• Collaborate with other team members to improve QA effectiveness and efficiency. 

We need:

• 1–2 years of experience in a QA or testing role, with a basic understanding of QA principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with SQL and related databases, including basic querying.
• Comfortable working in English, with solid communication skills to collaborate effectively in meetings and documentation.
• Basic experience with version control systems (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with tools like Postman for endpoint testing.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Bonus skills

• Exposure to mobile app testing or knowledge of unique challenges in testing mobile applications.
• Interest in or initial experience with automated testing tools and techniques.
