Senior Scala Developer 🚀
As Senior Scala developer at Ematiq you will be designing, implementing andmaintaining distributed systems involved in real time algorithmic trading in a varietyof business domains.
We are looking for people who are passionate about the development of distributedsystems with ZIO & Pekko frameworks and their ecosystems. Experience withdesigning underlying AWS infrastructure is welcome, but not necessary as we wantyou to focus mainly on application development.
We are also keen to work with Scala functional programming enthusiasts who canhelp us make the right investment in functional programming technology relevantfor achieving our business goals.

What will be your daily responsibilities? 📋
- designing, implementing and supporting distributed systems for low latencyalgorithmic trading in variety of business domains
- design and debug stream based / event based systems running with high reliability guarantees and real time characteristics
- improving response times and reliability of our systems
- consulting acceptance criteria with product level stakeholders
- steadily improving quality of codebase, ideally by leading by good example andemploying unit / integration tests
