💼 What you'll do
We're looking for a Business Consultant and Presales Partner who can sit down with a client, truly listen, and become a trusted long-term partner as they adopt automation and make their work more efficient with AI. Working alongside our presales experts, engineers, and sales team, you'll help shape the projects we take on - primarily in manufacturing and logistics.
The heart of this role is understanding what a client actually needs - often before they've fully put it into words themselves - and connecting those needs to what we can build: optimization, machine learning, generative AI, and tailored solutions. You'll be the bridge between the client's world and our technical teams.
- 🔍 Discover opportunities - meet new and existing clients, ask the right questions, and uncover where Data & AI can streamline or automate their processes, including problems they may not have spotted themselves.
- 🧩 Understand and frame requirements - listen closely, decompose complex situations, and translate business pain points into clear problem statements our engineers can act on.
- 💡 Connect solutions to needs - map our capabilities (optimization, ML, generative AI, analytics) to each client's context and articulate the value in the language they care about.
- 🛣️ Shape proposals and roadmaps - work with the team to design implementation roadmaps and drive presales activities from the first conversation to a well-scoped opportunity.
- 🤝 Build relationships - engage stakeholders at every level, from operations and the shop floor to management, and keep the cooperation growing.
✅ Recognize yourself?
⭐ Previous experience in presales, consulting, or another client-facing solution role
⭐ A reasonable technical understanding - you don't need a formal technical degree, but you should grasp what we build well enough to hold a credible conversation with both clients and engineers.
⭐ Excellent listening and communication skills - you move easily between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you're genuinely curious about how a business works.
⭐ A consultative mindset - you decompose messy, real-world problems, ask the critical questions, and see the opportunity a client might miss.
⭐ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
⭐ Fluency in Czech and English at a business level - both are needed for client-facing work.
✈️ Willingness to travel occasionally to clients.
🏭 A working knowledge of manufacturing and/or logistics processes - you understand the basics and have some hands-on experience in these environments (roughly a year or more).
📈 Enthusiasm to build on that and grow into a manufacturing and logistics expert - deeper domain knowledge is a core part of this role, and something you'll develop intensively with us.
⭐ Nice to have
🇩🇪 German at a communicative level - a big plus for client-facing work in the region.
🤖 Familiarity with Data & AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Optimization, or Generative AI.
🌐 An existing network among leaders in manufacturing or automotive in the Czech Republic.
📊 Exposure to how Data & AI projects are scoped, estimated, and delivered.
