Media Production Workflow Specialist
About the role
AYON is looking for a Media Production Workflow Specialist to help studios understand how AYON can support real media production management workflows.
This is a customer-facing role for someone who has worked in or closely around studio production and can confidently explain how production teams manage planning, task tracking, reviews, schedules, and delivery. You will join customer conversations, run product demos, create training and tutorial content, and help prospects and customers understand how AYON fits into their day-to-day work.
We are looking for someone who can do more than talk about software features. You should be able to understand a studio’s production challenges, translate them into practical workflows, and show how those workflows can be managed in AYON.
This role is based in Prague, as the person will work closely with the team during onboarding and will need hands-on support while learning the product.
What you’ll do
Join customer calls to understand how studios manage production, schedules, tasks, reviews, approvals, and delivery.
Run production-focused demos of AYON for producers, coordinators, production managers, studio managers, supervisors, and related stakeholders.
Show how AYON supports production workflows such as planning, task tracking, status updates, reviews, approvals, and team coordination.
Ask thoughtful questions during demos to understand the customer’s real problems and show relevant product workflows in response.
Support prospective customers during evaluations and trials, including basic guidance around product use, access, licensing, and subscription questions.
Help existing customers understand more of AYON’s production management capabilities and identify where they could expand their use.
Create tutorial and training material, including written guides, walkthroughs, short videos, screen recordings, and product explainers.
Own tutorial content from start to finish, including planning, scripting, recording, editing, and publishing.
Work closely with the Head of Growth to support sales conversations, follow-ups, customer education, and expansion opportunities.
Share feedback from customers and prospects with the wider team to improve demos, onboarding, documentation, and product messaging.
Escalate deeper technical, pipeline, implementation, or product support questions to the right internal team.
What we’re looking for
At least 4 years of relevant experience in animation, VFX, post-production, games, virtual production, or a related creative production environment.
Ideally 4–8 years of experience, with enough hands-on knowledge to speak credibly about production workflows without being too far removed from day-to-day production realities.
Experience in a role such as Production Coordinator, Production Manager, Associate Producer, Studio Coordinator, Pipeline Coordinator, Production-facing Artist, Lead Artist, or similar.
Strong understanding of how studios manage tasks, schedules, departments, reviews, dependencies, approvals, and delivery.
Experience using production tracking, review, or workflow tools such as ShotGrid/Flow PT, ftrack, AYON, Monday, Notion, Jira, Kitsu, or similar systems.
Confidence presenting software to other people, whether through demos, training sessions, onboarding, tutorials, or internal workflow presentations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain workflows clearly to both production and technical audiences.
Comfort being on camera, recording screen walkthroughs, and creating tutorial-style product content.
Ability to plan and finish content independently, from initial idea through to final written or video output.
A practical, customer-focused mindset and the ability to understand what someone is trying to solve, not just what feature they are asking about.
Strong spoken and written English.
Nice to have
Previous experience training artists, producers, coordinators, or studio teams on production tools.
Experience creating product tutorials, documentation, video walkthroughs, or internal training material.
Experience working with both production and pipeline teams.
Familiarity with animation or VFX pipeline concepts such as assets, shots, tasks, publishes, versions, reviews, and approvals.
Experience in a customer-facing role, such as product specialist, workflow specialist, trainer, onboarding specialist, customer success, or pre-sales support.
Basic video editing experience.
Who this role could suit
This role could suit someone from a production background who enjoys explaining workflows and helping teams work better.
It could also suit an artist or lead artist who has been closely involved in production workflows, understands how studio teams coordinate work, and is confident presenting, training, or creating tutorial content.
The most important thing is not the exact job title you have had before. It’s whether you can understand production problems, explain workflows clearly, demo software confidently, and create useful training material.
What this role is not
This is not a pure sales role. It’s also not a deep technical pipeline role, implementation role, or full product support role.
You will not be expected to debug complex pipeline issues, configure studio pipelines, troubleshoot DCC integrations, or provide advanced technical support. Your focus will be on production workflows, demos, customer education, trial support, and clear handover to the right internal team when deeper technical expertise is needed.
What success looks like
Customers quickly understand how AYON can support production workflows.
Demos feel relevant, confident, and grounded in studio experience.
Prospects feel that AYON understands production, not just software.
Tutorial and training material helps customers learn the product more easily.
The Head of Growth has stronger support across demos, follow-ups, trials, and customer education.
Product, marketing, and documentation teams receive useful feedback from real customer conversations.
This role is based in Prague. Compensation: 60,000–80,000 CZK gross/month, depending on relevant experience and fit for the role.
We are keeping the role Prague-based for now because the person will need close support from the team while learning AYON, building demo confidence, and developing tutorial material.
This role reports to the Head of Growth and works closely with product, support, marketing, and technical team members.
