đ¤đ Senior Full-stack Engineer (Typescript, Device & Cloud Platform) đ
At signageOS, we build a platform for managing digital signage and connected devices at scale. Our technology runs on thousands of devices worldwide and solves challenges around distributed systems, device communication, reliability, and automation.
Weâre looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer who wants to actively shape technical solutions and enjoys thinking about software in broader context.
What youâll have real impact on
- backend services and APIs for managing large fleets of devices
- frontend applications and internal tooling
- architecture and technical solutions across the platform
- developer workflows, CI/CD, and automation
- system performance, stability, and observability
- AI-assisted development as a natural part of engineering work
Weâre not looking for someone focused only on âfrontendâ or âbackendâ. We need someone comfortable moving across different layers of the system depending on what makes sense.
Engineers at signageOS are expected to actively shape solutions - not just implement predefined specs.
How we build software today
We see technology as a tool, not dogma. Our current stack mainly includes:
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- React / Next.js
- PostgreSQL
- GraphQL
- Kubernetes
- AWS + increasingly GCP
- FluxCD
And more and more:
- GitHub Copilot Workflows
- Claude Code
Weâre not interested in AI hype. What matters to us is practical use - workflow automation, multi-step tasks, faster iteration, better context handling, and orchestration of more complex engineering work.
Weâre looking for a person, not a checklist of technologies
Youâll likely fit well if you:
- have 7+ years of experience building production software
- can work independently and take ownership
- think beyond implementation and care about architecture
- donât need step-by-step instructions for every task
- can defend technical opinions while staying pragmatic
- enjoy finding more effective ways of working
This is probably not the right environment if you only want tickets assigned into a sprint and clear implementation specs.
Itâs a much better fit for people who value technical autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to influence how software gets built.
Why this role is different
Real technical problems
Youâll work on systems that affect thousands of real devices in production, not just another browser application.
Small team, low hierarchy
Youâll work in a relatively small but experienced engineering team where technical decisions happen close to the people actually building the software.
Space to improve how things work
We donât see tooling or processes as fixed. If something can be automated or improved, we want to hear about it.
AI-native engineering
Software development is changing faster than it has in the last decade combined. We donât want to use AI as a better autocomplete, but as a real part of the engineering workflow.
If you already experiment with Copilot Workflows, Claude Code, agents, or your own automation setups, youâll be highly relevant here.
How we work
- high level of autonomy
- ability to influence architecture and engineering culture
- remote-friendly setup
- minimal process overhead
- globally used product
