Job Description

This is a remote position.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: JUNE 30, 2026

This position may close earlier than the advertised deadline if we receive a sufficient number of applications. We therefore recommend that you apply as soon as possible.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with excellent knowledge of B2B SaaS UI, with enough experience to immediately recognize how good enterprise software should look and work - and how it shouldn't.

You can be a designer who learned to code, or a UI developer with excellent taste and judgment. In the AI-first era, the line between the two professions matters much less than your instinct for what's good.

The main focus of this role is the Sponsorworks Events platform: our core commercial product built on ASP.NET that handles complex workflows in event management, ticketing, hospitality and guest management. It has a solid foundation and a loyal customer base. It also has real UX and UI debt that has accumulated over years of continuous development. You are here to transform it, not maintain it.

What makes this role interesting is how you will implement your work. Instead of handing off designs to the development team, you will use AI-powered coding tools (primarily Cursor) to make changes directly to the codebase. You don’t need a formal engineering background. But you do need real fluency with these tools and the ability to quickly learn. The selection process includes a real-time practical test.

You will report to the Principal Product Architect – an experienced product design manager who is highly collaborative and actively involved.

What You'll Be Doing

You will take responsibility for UX and UI quality across the Events platform: identify what needs attention, ruthlessly prioritize and drive improvements through to completion You will design and directly implement changes to the codebase using AI coding tools, eliminating traditional Figma handoffs You will work with live data; understand how event and guest information flows through the product and ensure it is clearer and more useful to the people who rely on it daily You will drive the full development cycle: refine commercial requirements, deliver UI code using AI tools, align with scrum master/developers/QA and collaborate through to release You will contribute product thinking at every stage – not just delivering on the brief, but helping to shape it You will drive the overall quality of the product towards an experience that aligns with the premium commercial relationships it supports

What We're Looking For

You must have:

Proven experience improving SaaS interfaces: dashboards, data-intensive screens, complex workflows – on products that real people use to do real work Excellent UI fundamentals with a comprehensive overview of modern SaaS UI patterns and technologies: you know the difference between shadcn and Bootstrap, between Tailwind and legacy CSS, and you understand why these differences matter Strong UX instinct: you think in flows and systems, not just screens; you understand where users get lost and why Product thinking: you understand why a feature exists and who it serves, not just what it looks like Proven practical fluency with AI coding tools: Cursor, Copilot or equivalent; you must have worked with this and be able to demonstrate it Sufficient technical confidence to use AI tools to make real, production changes Excellent written and spoken English; this is key to working with our global, remote and asynchronously oriented team Ability to work within a structured development process: Jira, feature branches, coordination with developers and QA What will make you stand out:

A genuine interest in sports; understanding the industry is key to success and cultural fit Experience with events, ticketing, hospitality, or guest management software; someone who already understands these workflows will be on board more quickly Experience improving legacy or mature products, not just building from scratch; this role is not a greenfield project Portfolio with data-rich SaaS interfaces: dashboards, analytical views, anything where the challenge is to make complexity easy
