Security Engineer | R&D startup in Prague
We are developing the SpaceKnow Guardian® platform, which accesses satellite data from multiple sources and allows us to image large areas of the Earth on demand. Guardian can analyze satellite imagery using our proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence . We aim to provide users with near real-time data and analytics to support their informed decision-making.
Join our team of developers. We analyze petabytes of satellite imagery. We integrate state-of-the-art satellite and ground sensors. The position is for people that want to help us with security topics who can work both in a team, independently, and are well-organized.
What can you help us with?
Protect SpaceKnow Guardian® in public cloud environments
Set up a secure development environment for a mid-sized defense and intelligence focused company
Set up and manage security policies for both internal and external processes
Create safe HW infrastructure and architecture for on-premise SpaceKnow Guardian® setups
Manage risk assessments, alerts from XDR/MDR systems, vulnerability scanning, and SW patching cycles.
Skills we are looking for
Experience with containerization & orchestration.
Knowledge of HW infrastructure & architecture.
Knowledge of networking principles.
Familiarity with XDR/EDR platforms, vulnerability scanners, and identity management.
Administering Linux environments.
Python & bash scripting.
Communication skills for effective on-site collaboration and communication with third-party security vendors.
A strong ability to learn new technologies.
Openness to receive and give feedback.
