Infrastructure Engineer | Medior/Senior | R&D startup in Prague
We are developing the SpaceKnow Guardian® platform, which accesses satellite data from multiple sources and allows us to image large areas of the Earth on demand. Guardian can analyze satellite imagery using our proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence . We aim to provide users with near real-time data and analytics to support their informed decision-making.
Join our team of developers. We analyze petabytes of satellite imagery. We integrate state-of-the-art satellite and ground sensors. We look for innovative approaches to processing and displaying different types of data. We are constantly discovering and learning new technologies. Each of us has a chance to shape the direction of the company.
The position is suitable for mid/senior experienced developers who can work both in a team, independently, and are well-organized.
What will you do?
Help us deploy SpaceKnowGuardian® to different on-premise set-ups and manage it.
Help us create the HW infrastructure and architecture for on-premise, according to client requirements.
Help us set-up both internal and external networks.
Help us create and manage AI infrastructure for our in-house AI models.
Required skills
Solid grasp of HW infrastructure & architecture.
Knowledge of networking principles.
Proficiency in administering Linux environments.
Communication skills for effective on-site collaboration.
A strong ability to learn new technologies.
Openness to receive and give feedback.
Technologies we work with:
Networking: load balancing/reverse proxy (nginx), L2/L3/L4 networking, DHCP, TLS, firewalls, DNS, routing.
Linux ecosystem.
Scripting: Python, bash.
Containers & orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Helm, knowledge of Terraform is an advantage.
Storage: in k8s in on-premise solutions, knowledge of rook-ceph is an advantage.
Cloud providers: mainly GCP, knowledge of any other is an advantage.
Databases: deploying NoSQL - MongoDB and SQL databases.
