CEO for AI Software Engineering Studio
Established AI software studio in Prague is hiring a dedicated CEO. Senior team, capital, clients, and delivery methodology are all in place. We're looking for someone to run the company day-to-day — under the leadership of a majority owner who holds strategy and ownership vision.
About us
Brainapptica builds production AI systems for finance, fintech, energy, and regulated environments. No generic chatbots, no handovers, exclusively with senior engineers. Team of up to 10 people, average seniority 12+ years.
What you'll do
- Lead day-to-day operations — operations, finance, P&L, reporting to the owner
- Sales pipeline and key account management
- Senior hiring, culture, and team development
- Coordinate with engineering leadership on project delivery
- Develop services and market positioning
You won't be building from scratch. You're stepping into a working team, an established client base, and a proven delivery methodology.
Who we're looking for
- Experience leading a small to mid-sized tech company or a strong business unit (roughly 10–50 people)
- You understand the services model — consultancy, software house, agency, or project-based business
- You can work as a partner to a strong owner — not a solo-founder mindset
- Commercial instinct — comfortable in sales conversations with decision-makers
- Czech and English at business level
- You come across as credible to senior engineers — you don't need to be a technologist, but you understand the domain
Bonus: experience in AI/ML business or delivering software for regulated sectors (banking, fintech, energy).
