Who are we looking for?

• We are looking for a Loan Underwriter Specialist to join our remote tech team.
• You'll be responsible for handling manual loan underwriting cases, using data from our partners, PSD2 data, and other available sources. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Risk to update and develop risk underwriting policies, shaping new strategies for our entire portfolio across various European markets.

Your responsibilities?

• Manually underwrite loan cases, utilizing all available data for various types of clients.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis, validate partner data, provide insights to enhance underwriting processes, contribute to the development of new rules and approaches, and work towards automating a portion of the portfolio underwriting.
• Prepare and draft changes to risk policies.
• Develop new risk policies for entering new markets.
• Collaborate with the data science team on model performance and application.
• Work with Business Analysts and the IT team on new functionalities and the design of the underwriting process.

How do we imagine you?

• Native Czech/Slovak + strong English (spoken and written).
• (At least basic) experience in a similar role (credit and risk analysis, underwriting, etc.).
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
• Independence, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to think in context.

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with statistical modeling and knowledge of programming languages such as Python.

• Experience with process automatization.
