Role Overview

The Business Analyst will be a key partner for Product, Game Design, Commercial, and Operations teams. You’ll turn data into insights on game performance, player behavior, and partner results, and help translate business needs into precise requirements for the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Business & product analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Product, Game Design, Account Management and Marketing.

Game & player analytics

Analyze performance of slot and Instant games across operators, markets, and devices;

Build and maintain dashboards and report tracking game KPIs, partner performance, and campaign impact using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker);

Run adhoc deep dives on underperforming titles and identify improvement opportunities in game design or promotion;

Marketing analysis (traffic & campaigns)

Create a whole marketing dashboard with all the input from the marketing areas: website analytics, CRM performance, social performance, etc.;

Occasional support of the marketing team with analytics and data reports for ad hoc projects;

Business, customer, and consumer data and insights for evaluation of the game successes, to help understand which games should be pushed;

Support in the creation of marketing analytical reports based on the business insights and data available;

Commercial & strategy support

Prepare regular performance reports and business reviews for key operator partners;

Support forecasting and scenario modelling for new game launches, markets, and promotional campaigns;

Contribute data to pricing models, revenue-share analysis, and deal evaluations;

Experiments & optimization

Work with Product/Game Design to propose A/B tests and experiments (new features, UX changes, game math variations, promotions);

Define success metrics, track results, and recommend next steps based on data;

Data quality & documentation

Help maintain KPI definitions, metric dictionaries, and reporting standards;

Validate data quality and work with Data/Engineering teams to resolve tracking issues;

Create and maintain clear documentation (requirements, reports, dashboards, processes) for internal stakeholders.

Requirements (MustHave)

Experience

~3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar in a digital product/tech environment (gaming, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, etc.);

Technical & analytical skills

Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets;

Good SQL skills for independent data extraction and validation.o Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, basic modelling);

Experience with at least one BI/data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Data Studio);

Business & communication

Ability to translate business problems into analytical questions and then into actionable recommendations;

Experience gathering and documenting requirements and collaborating closely with developers;

Strong presentation skills; ability to explain complex findings in a simple way to non-technical stakeholders;

Language & culture

English and Russian at C1 level minimum (working language in a diverse, international team);

Openness to working in a fast-growing, multicultural ,international iGaming environment;

Nice to Have

Experience in online casino / iGaming / game development
Familiarity with slot game KPIs
Experience with web/product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
Basic understanding of statistical methods (significance testing, confidence intervals, cohorts)
Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban, Jira)
