Overview:
The position is responsible for the strategic and technical management of marketing automation with a focus on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform and Adobe Campaign. The role ensures the effective design, management and development of automation solutions, coordination between teams and the correct use of data and technology capacities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Automation Strategies:
- Define and refine strategies for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign.
- Establish principles for campaign execution and data management.
- Collaborate on marketing technology architecture development.
Platform Management:
- Oversee Salesforce Marketing Cloud operation and configuration.
- Manage governance, access, and platform standards.
- Monitor and implement new platform functionalities.
Campaign Design and Coordination:
- Develop customer journey, segmentation, and personalization methodologies.
- Collaborate with creative and technical teams on campaigns.
- Conduct audits to ensure quality across automation workflows.
Integration and Data Management:
- Manage technical integration with CRM systems and data sources.
- Set up data models and segmentation principles.
- Ensure data quality and consistency.
Performance Analysis:
- Evaluate campaign and automation performance.
- Recommend improvements for efficiency and relevance.
- Support testing and results interpretation.
Leadership:
- Mentor marketing automation and CRM specialists.
- Define standards, documentation, and process frameworks.
- Collaborate across IT, data, CRM, and marketing teams.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure GDPR and regulation compliance.
- Define procedures for secure data handling.
Qualifications:
- Experience in managing, configuring, and operating Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign.
- Understanding of the key modules of SFMC (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder).
- Experience in designing campaigns, automation, processes and data workflows.
- Experience leading a team.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of integration principles or data flows within marketing automation platforms.
- SFMC certification.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for checking email templates.
