About the Role:

• You’ll join a core backend engineering team and work closely alongside the CTO.
• Expect a mix of API development, business logic, database work, and building core systems that power the product.
• You'll be expected to come up with suggestions on scalability and architecture. The role is not solely about writing quality code, but also about being a strategic tech lead.
• Small, tight-knit team of 4 devs — highly collaborative, fast-moving, and full of ownership.
• Startup-like environment: quick decisions, direct impact, and room to shape the architecture.

Tech Stack:

• Django REST, Python, Pydantic
• PostgreSQL
• React & React Native (not a requirement)
• Google Cloud

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and Django
• Solid understanding of API design and backend architecture
• Experience with relational databases
• Architecture or scaling experience - you’ll challenge the existing solution and propose new architecture and services.

Nice to have:

• Experience with typed APIs (e.g., Pydantic)
• Exposure to Google Cloud
• Interest in logistics or mobile services
