Neuron Soundware

Neuron Soundware (NSW) was founded in 2016 by Pavel Konečný in Prague. It was named “Idea of the Year 2016” in the Czech Republic for the combination of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things technologies. In 2017, the company received initial €600,000 investment by J&T Ventures. One year later, NSW was classified as a “Cool Vendor in Acoustic Technologies for Predictive Maintenance” by Gartner. In 2019, the team of approximately 20 experts successfully closed Round A with €5.75 million investment from INVEN CAPITAL and LEAD VENTURES. In 2023, NSW received 160 million crowns of funding from the EU and the TAČR program, succeeding as the sole Czech representative among a thousand applicants.

We listen - so that our customers can fix their machines before they break. Our innovative audio diagnostics technology consists of special IoT recording and edge computing hardware (nBox & nCard), sensors and microphones, AI algorithms, and analytics and monitoring software platform. Our solution is applicable for many types of machines such as engines, compressors, pumps, turbines, robots and many other types of equipment. We are following the Industry 4.0 and predictive maintenance wave in the European industry. We are proud to work on implementation of our technology with customers like Airbus, Siemens, ŠKODA AUTO, BMW, Daimler, innogy or LG.

Our future is focused on scalability of successful use cases and deployment of pre-trained AI algorithms to monitor large quantities of machines like engines, compressors, pumps, turbines, robots etc. This strategy is supported by provision of easy-to-implement monitoring solution that can be up and running in just weeks and financed via an affordable monthly fee charged per machine, i.e., solution as a service. To maintain the international expansion, we are now hiring for a number of new positions for our Prague main office. Besides direct sales, we will continue to build its partnership network, in Europe, but also in the Middle East and Asia.
