Creditinfo CEE is an international provider of consultancy and credit risk management. We have clients in more than 20 countries and provide them with our own, in-house made software solutions. Our company is among four world providers of credit bureaus preferd by the Finance Corporation, site of the World Bank. Among our main clients, there are mostly banks, leasing companies and MFI‘s.
Since 1997, Creditinfo Group hf has been among the fastest growing companies in its field. Between 1998 and 2007 the average annual growth rate exceeded 50%. Since 2003, the company has offered diversified services in the area of credit risk management with information provision as the core of services, including tools for decision making, models and software. All of Creditinfo core services comply with European Union Directive (95/46/EC) on the handling and transmitting of personal information.
Creditinfo Group hf is owned by Reynir Gretarsson (93%) and 7% is owned by smaller shareholders and employees.
Creditinfo is a leading service provider for credit information and risk management solutions worldwide. It has developed, through its multiple subsidiaries, numerous products and services from official and customer information sources to facilitate best practice decisioning in credit risk management and has been the preferred partner of local Credit Bureaus.
Creditinfo has been shortlisted and awarded in several tenders supported by World Bank, IFC, Millenium Challenge Corporation and other international organisations.
The most recent ones are in Tanzania (central bank), South Sudan (central bank), Cape Verde (Chamber of Commerce) and Indonesia (private owned credit bureau). Our strength is the establishing of credit bureaus in emerging credit markets and hosting, managing and providing credit and credit related data to customers throughout Europe, either directly or through our partner agreements.
