About Us

CarsData is a core company within EAG Group, one of Europe's fastest-growing digital powerhouses in the automotive sector backed by €100 million in recent financing. As part of a thriving ecosystem that includes Omnetic, Carvago, and other industry leaders, we're transforming how dealerships operate across Europe.

CarsData consists of several teams including a dedicated Data Engineering Team and an AI Team working in close collaboration. We partner with the Czech Technical University in Prague to tackle our most challenging projects, creating an environment where research meets practical industry applications.

The Role: Join One of Europe's Most Innovative Data Teams We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise to join our cutting-edge Data Engineering team. As one of the top AWS customers in the Czech Republic processing over 5M daily classifieds, managing 50TB+ of text data, 400TB+ of photos, and running 130,000+ lines of SQL code, we're not your average data team.

In this position, you'll work on our sophisticated unified data infrastructure built around Snowflake as our core data warehouse platform (we've been with them since 2015!), AWS for cloud services, and Keboola for data integration. You'll help create and maintain a modern data stack that includes Deepnote for collaborative analytics, Claude Code for AI-assisted development, and Cursor.ai for intelligent code generation. Our tech stack empowers various initiatives across the EAG Group's automotive ecosystem while embracing our "Data as a Product" philosophy in an autonomous data team environment.

You'll collaborate with a highly skilled team on state-of-the-art projects involving natural language processing, image recognition systems, vector similarity & RAG, machine learning, sophisticated pricing models, preparation of semantic layers, and text-to-SQL projects. We use Git for version control directly integrated with our database systems, allowing for clean, collaborative development workflows. We are at the forefront of AI adoption, having already implemented advanced agentic systems that are transforming how we process and analyze automotive data.

  • Create efficient data models supporting both Data Mesh architecture and One Big Table approaches
