About us

BTC Prague is Europe’s largest Bitcoin conference. We’re a small team that built an event for thousands of people from all over the world. And we’re strictly bitcoin-only.

Why this role exists

Someone on our team fights for the speakers. Someone fights for the attendees. But nobody owns our partners from the first message to the last day of the conference. And that’s the person we need.

Partners make BTC Prague possible. Hardware wallet makers, brokers, miners, payment companies and many others come to Prague to meet their customers. Until now, partnerships were run by people who also had many other focuses. That shows, and our partners deserve better. When the team decides on the floor plan, the app or next year’s offer, you’re the voice asking “and what does the partner who paid for this get out of it?” You have a mandate to say it out loud.

What you’ll do

1) The partner’s advocate

This is the thread running through everything below. You know what our partners came for, what worked for them last year and what annoyed them. You talk to them before, during and after the conference, and you bring what you hear back to the team. Nobody on the team should know our partners better than you do.

2) Selling partnerships

You own partnership sales end to end: booths across our partner tiers, YouTube placements, visibility in our event app and deals for Bitcoin Corporate Day. You work a network of 400+ companies, from partners who’ve been with us for years to ones who’ve never heard of us. Bitcoin companies are small and busy, so we’re the ones who chase. You reply within a day, and when a conversation goes quiet, you reopen it with a fresh angle, not a “just checking in”.

3) Big deals, together with the CEO

The largest deals and anything outside our price list go through our CEO. You prepare them, you know the numbers and the history, and after the deal is signed, the partner is yours. On everything else, you run the deal yourself.

4) Kickoff and delivery

Once a partner signs, you run the kickoff and make sure they get everything they paid for. A lot of it is delivered by colleagues: production builds the booth, marketing runs the co-marketing, program handles stage visibility. They do the work, you make sure it happens on time and at the level we promised, and you’re the one who notices first when something slips.

5) Pitching that stands out

A sales email with a link to a PDF is not enough. You build pitches that fit the specific prospect: the right visuals, a custom page, an offer that speaks to their business. You use AI to do it fast, and it shows in the result.

6) A pipeline anyone could take over

Every contact, deal and sent offer lives in our CRM in Notion. Not because someone checks, but because a pipeline of hundreds of contacts only works if it’s clean.

7) Opening new segments

Most of our partners come from the Bitcoin industry, and we don’t want to depend on a single industry. You research and open segments that bitcoiners care about beyond Bitcoin itself, such as health tech. You decide which segments are worth it, find the right companies, and bring them to the floor.

Your must-have skills

  • B2B sales you can show. Deals you closed, with numbers. You don’t need 20 years, you need a track record you’re proud of.

  • Proactive and fast. Nobody has to remind you to follow up.

  • You finish things. What you hand over is ready to use and comes with a short note on what’s done and what’s open.

  • Honest and friendly, not salesy. Partners come back because they trust you.

  • Organised. You can keep dozens of partners and hundreds of contacts under control while colleagues deliver parts of the work.

  • You use AI daily and it shows in your output.

  • Near-native English.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowing bitcoin. You don’t have to be a bitcoiner on day one. What matters is that you want to understand it, because our partners present real products (self-custody, mining, Lightning, payments) and you need to talk to them as a peer.

  • Czech. Many of our partners are international, but a lot of the team and our suppliers work in Czech.

  • Event, conference or sponsorship sales. You know what a booth is worth to the company that buys it.

  • Contacts in the Bitcoin industry.

What you’ll earn

We pay a solid base and a commission on every deal you close, from your very first one.

  • Base: 50,000 to 65,000 CZK gross a month

  • Commission on every deal, no cap: 10 % for new partners, 5 % for returning partners who buy more, 3 % for renewals. Paid quarterly, from what partners actually pay

  • For scale: one new Silver partner (16,000 EUR) means 480 - 1,600 EUR for you. Last year we had 62 partners, and this year we’re aiming higher

Practical information

  • Full-time. Employment contract (HPP) or contractor (IČO), whichever suits you

  • Start as soon as possible, ideally in November 2026. Our main sales season is already running. If you’re on a notice period, apply anyway and tell us when you could start. We’ll find a way to get you involved gradually before your full start

  • You’ll work with the COO on day-to-day work and your growth, and with the CEO on deals and pricing

  • Remote is fine. Office in Ostrava, and we can arrange a coworking desk in Prague

  • In the Czech Republic for the two months before the conference (March and April), and on-site in Prague for conference week

  • The year has a rhythm: autumn to spring isstr intense, summer is calmer

  • Small team, short decision path, no approval chains

  • International, English-first team

  • A clear path to growing this into a Head of Partnerships role

What success looks like after the first year

Partners come back to BTC Prague 2028 because working with us was easy, not only because the audience is right. Every partner knows exactly who to call, and gets what they paid for without having to chase us. Our pipeline is clean enough that nothing gets lost when you’re on holiday. And a few partners on the floor are from segments we’d never sold to before, because you went and found them.
