Test Automation Consultant

About the role

You join our consulting team in Brno as a Test Automation Consultant. You help our customers with all questions around test automation and turn testing from a roadblock into a catalyst for innovation in business and technology projects.

Job details

• Based in our Brno office, hybrid working arrangement

• Full-time employment with Automators

What you’ll do

• Implement test automation on various customer projects

• Design test cases from customer requirements such as user stories and business processes

• Create, execute and maintain automated tests

• Work closely with developers and business analysts, usually in agile teams or a test center

• Help improve testing processes, CI/CD integration and overall test automation strategy

• Communicate findings clearly and make sure quality issues are addressed

What you bring

• Practical testing experience, ideally 2+ years in software testing or test automation

• Hands-on skills in one or more of: JavaScript (Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO), Python (pytest or similar), data pipelines or data-processing workflows, Tricentis Tosca or another no-code/low-code automation tool

• Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD usage is a plus

• Excellent English, spoken and written. German is a plus.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification

• SQL or general programming knowledge

• Prior consulting or client-facing experience
