Investment Associate (HealthTech)
About us
We are an investment firm building the leading AI-native, digital-first healthcare group in the CEE region.
Over the next few years, we will invest in a portfolio of early-stage HealthTech companies and work closely with their teams to help them become profitable leaders in their niche markets.
We're now adding two full-time people to our office in Prague.

What you will do
Find the right companies. Screen the market, run outreach, go to events and build initial relationships with the most relevant HealthTech entrepreneurs.
Run the deals. Lead due diligence, build the investment cases and drive the process up to the point where we start negotiating terms.
Build the portfolio. Preparation for board meetings, reporting and enough time inside the companies to understand what's driving their numbers, where they're stuck and what can be done about it.
What you'd get out of it
Close collaboration within a small, high-caliber team. Our Partners include a serial entrepreneur and investor or a globally recognized surgeon who is one of the most-followed voices in HealthTech. The team also draws on experience from McKinsey, Roche, RSJ or the Impact Hub.
Deep dive into the HealthTech ecosystem. A key part of the role is identifying promising early-stage HealthTech companies, understanding their markets and developing strong relationships with HealthTech entrepreneurs, investors and operators.
A path into an executive role. You'll start by finding and backing our portfolio companies. As the group grows, you'll know the businesses inside out - giving you a natural path into an executive role within our group.
Constant feedback. Small team, high standards, little bureaucracy. You'll know where you stand and what to improve.
CEE exposure. You'll work across Central and Eastern Europe, travel regularly and build a strong HealthTech network across the region.
Who we're looking for
2-4 years of relevant experience. You have worked in transaction services, M&A or VC/PE, with hands-on sourcing experience.
Strong analytical skills. You can build and defend an investment case and are comfortable working through complex business questions.
AI-native. You have your own stack of AI tools and would be irritated working somewhere that didn't let you use them. You are technical enough to brief a developer and challenge the output.
Builder mentality. You ultimately want to run a business yourself - this role is a fast track to getting there.
A problem solver. You don't need a playbook for every situation. When there isn't one, you work out the answer yourself.
Naturally sociable. You are comfortable winning an entrepreneur’s attention. You get energy from meeting people rather than losing it.
What this job is not
Not banking or consulting. There is no "deck → diligence → close → repeat". We live with our investment decisions for 10+ years.
Not a traditional VC associate role. You will not receive a target list or sourcing channels to tap into. While you'll initially benefit from the dealflow we've already built, we expect an increasing share of our pipeline to come from companies we've found ourselves.
Not a career in investing. The investments are the starting point, not the end goal. We’re looking for someone who wants to help build a leading healthcare group, not only build a career in investing.
