Head of Product
🩷About us
At PLG Group, we connect people with culture: from concerts, theatre, and festivals to art exhibitions and live events across Czechia and Slovakia.
We started out as GoOut back in 2011, driven by a simple idea: to make it easier for people to discover and experience culture. Over the years, we’ve grown together with the local scene, and in 2023, we became part of the PLG Group, one of Europe’s leading live-event platforms.
Since then, our group has expanded to include Ticketstream and Ticketportal, bringing together the strongest local brands under one roof. Thanks to that, we can keep doing what we love — supporting culture — but now with even better tools, technology, and reach to improve the experience for organisers and visitors alike.
What hasn’t changed? Our mindset. We still work in a creative, open, and no-BS way, close to the artists, promoters, and audiences who make culture happen every day.
💚Your role
As Head of Product, you will lead a group of Product Managers and own product strategy and delivery for a significant part of our ecosystem. You will report to the VP of Product and work closely with engineering leadership, group architecture, and country management across our markets. You’ll have real ownership: shaping the roadmap, building the team, and making decisions that directly influence how millions of people experience culture.
What you’ll do:
Own product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for your product domain within the marketplace and ticketing ecosystem
Lead, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers across several product teams
Translate group strategy into clear monthly and quarterly plans, and make sure your teams deliver on their commitments
Partner with engineering leaders and architects on discovery, prioritisation, and healthy delivery
Manage stakeholders across markets: local country management, promoters, and internal business teams
Establish product metrics and use data to drive decisions, from feature adoption to commercial impact
Drive platform consolidation: help migrate local brands and promoters onto our new group platform
Implement the most up to date product operations practices across your teams, including AI based practices
Raise the bar for product craft: discovery, planning discipline, documentation, and communication
Who we're looking for:
5+ years in product management, including experience leading and developing Product Managers
A track record of delivering complex products: marketplaces, e-commerce, ticketing, or B2B platforms
Strong execution and planning skills; you are comfortable committing to a roadmap and delivering it
Ability to operate in a multi-brand, multi-market environment with many stakeholders
A data-driven mindset and excellent communication skills
Fluent English; Czech or Slovak is an advantage
AI enthusiast with practical experience
Experience with platform consolidation or migrations is a big plus
